Developed by the Nariyan underground to block the signal generated by one of the subdermal identification tags implanted in all Nariyans at birth, and thereby take the wearer off the planetary grid, and let them pass through the orbital grid undetected. These have been largely out of use since underground operatives figured out how to remove the tags without triggering the self-destruct function. It's amazing how some people forget to use their eyes when they believe everyone can be picked up by their sensors. |
