Aniyachka - known for sunny violet skies, knockout cocktails and the inscrutable amphibious locals. As they have what is probably the largest tourist industry this side of the lagoon nebula, nearly every cluttered shelf, store room and cupboard in the galaxy has one of those twee miniature holographic projectors which shows the twin sunset over some sparkling bay or other. However, if I'm not very much mistaken, this particular item is not your average tourist trinket. It looks like the amulets worn by the yiuchtar, priestesses of the Aniachkar. I have no idea what its significance is, or if it performs any function beyond simple adornment. The Aniyachkar themselves prefer not to discuss their beliefs with the uninitiated. Nor do I know what strange path this item travelled to make its way into my hands, or even if it is the genuine article. All I know is that when I won it in a game of chance, in a bar far from here, the individual who placed it on the table knew nothing of its origin. That, and that it looks beautiful in the sunlight of this world or any other.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
